Greetings!
Coinciding with the recent marking of the Summer Solstice and the halfway point of the year, we have an important update for you all about the work towards building the PRALER Fund.
We started 2025 with launching the first report of the fund, followed by the We Fund Our Own Repair booklet produced for the Berlin Repairs Conference in February and ongoing updates on the practical use of the funds resources for Planet Repairs work.
We have been building a steady base of regular contributors during the past number of months, and have seen fantastic Glocal initiatives that have raised money through events, as well as several other long term partnerships being formed.
In Haringey the 'Exposing Empire' poetry night raised money for the PRALER Fund while sharing stories of local global anti-colonial resistance,
in Manchester a fundraising picnic was organised by Student networks,
and in Bristol a new mural was painted.

International events during the last month or so have demonstrated how high the stakes currently are in the global struggle against imperialism, with domestic law being trampled over to crush those taking action in solidarity with the palestinian people, and with international law being spat upon in order to serve the interests of a settler-colonial entity in West Asia.
A new world is being built by the peoples of the Global Majority, and as has been demonstrated by the United Nations recently moving several of its offices to Kenya and the expansion of the BRICS bloc, the future will move more and more away from the Western neocolonial system. While eurocentric movements are making compromises with imperialism in order to maintain certain privileges on the backs of the Global Majority, we are building on the best of our shared legacies of north-south and south-south solidarity.
This summer the PRALER Fund need 100 new contributors to be able to reach our targets and be able to strengthen our long term Internationalist Solidarity links.
By contributing an hours worth of your salary or the cost of a cup of coffee or a subscription each month you can take a first step towards the Just Restitution of resources as demanded by Communities of Resistance.
We are facilitaing connectivity and exchanges between Global Majority communities such as the Decolonial Open Communiversity (DOC) and the Berlin Repairs Conference (AEPPPRADIF).
We are building capacity for grassroots monitoring of our peoples struggles through the Planet Repairs Internationalist Observatory (PRIO).
We are facilitating Internationalist Solidarity with communities in the Sahel through PARISC and the newly launched Toega centre in Burkina Faso.

With 100 new financial contributors we can secure a strong and independent foundation for these operations and be able to invest in social enterprises which can generate their own resources.
We are also looking for contributions of:
secondhand phones and laptops.
space for stalls at events and festivals to sell community arts and crafts.
time towards organising partnerships in your local community.
By becoming a Contributor-Advocate with the PRALER Fund you will be building concrete internationalist solidarity with colonised communities and be part of an action-learning process that is developing Glocal responses to the problems we all face.
On the 31st July at 6pm we are hosting an online call where we will share more updates on the Glocal campaigning efforts of the fund, and provide a space for dialogue for anyone interested in getting involved.
In the face of the military escalations of the empire we look to freedomfighters such as Saint Oscar Romero, former archbishop of El Salvador, for inspiration:
"Peace is not the product of terror or fear.
Peace is not the silence of cemeteries.
Peace is not the silent result of violent repression.
Peace is the generous, tranquil contribution of all to the good of all.
Peace is dynamism. Peace is generosity. It is right and it is duty."
In Solidarity,
The PRALER Fund Administrator
